CITY COUNCIL MINUTES (SPECIAL MEETING)

Special Council Meeting Tuesday, March 18, 2025 6 p.m. at Thomas City Hall

ROLL CALL:

Present: Mayor Jody Flanagan, (Interim) Recorder Stephanie Quattro-Bennett, Terry Nelson, Nena Lambruno

Absent: Charlie Davis, Janice Mullenax

Mayor Jody Flanagan called the meeting to order at 6:00.

Business for Special Meeting:

1. Mark Joseph (City Accountant)- Presentation of Municipal Budget 2025-26

State Auditor's office requires all municipalities to submit a budget for the upcoming physical year. The budget includes general funds for example, public works, streetlights, cemetery, city clerk, city hall, administration and snow removal. Budget does not include water and sewer department. Submission deadline March 28th• 2025. The council approved 2025-26 budget this evening. April 15th the Council will reconvene for final approval. The council plans to review the budget quarterly with Mark including the water and sewer department.

(Interim) Recorder Quattro-Bennett made a motion to adjourn meeting at 7:13. Councilman Nelson seconded. Motion carried.
